Workshop

Presented by

Brette Lockyer
ICT Literacy Teacher
All Saints’ College

Have you ever considered the use of robots within content-area learning in the Primary Classroom?

Will the use of robots result in student engagement – or just enthrallment?

This workshop will present a series of hands-on activities to explore the capabilities of the Ozobot, an inexpensive robot which is on the scene in schools worldwide.

Bring a critical mind to this workshop, as we will be learning and then rating each activity – in terms of STEM learning, and content-area learning.

Who is really doing the thinking: teacher or student?

Is the Ozobot more than just a toy in the primary classroom?

Intended Audience:

Those interested in STEM, General Primary, Junior Primary, Middle / Upper Primary
