All the tickets for Professional Learning Events that are currently available are shown on this page. Additionally, you may find some of the tickets also appear on other pages – for instance, tickets to the ECAWA State Conference will appear on  this page with other PL tickets, as well as on a page dedicated to Conference tickets.

 

There are a number of options for you to consider when registering and purchasing tickets for a professional learning event, and it is your responsibility to select the ticket appropriate for your ECAWA membership. If you are unsure of which ticket to buy, please email secretary@ecawa.wa.edu.au before you proceed.

We expect that you will find the procedure very straight forward, but ask you to contact secretary@ecawa.wa.edu.au if you experience a problem, so that we can sort things out quickly.

If you intend to purchase several tickets for use by various members of your staff, please make the tickets for each individual part of a separate order so that the name and other details of the person attending the event/s are attached to the correct ticket/s.   If this is a problem, or if you wish to purchase a larger number of tickets, please email secretary@ecawa.wa.edu.au to make the arrangements if this is your easier option.

Please read through the step by step instructions below before you make your purchase.

When you have looked at the various ticket options and selected the ticket that matches your ECAWA membership and the event you will be attending:

  1. Click “Add To Basket.”
  2. In the “Cart” section, double check that you have the correct ticket.
  3. Still in the “Cart” area, if you can been given a Presenter or Staff or other discount coupon, add the coupon code and click “Apply Coupon.” Click “Update Basket” if necessary.
  4. Click “Proceed to Checkout.” You will then be taken to the next section
  5. If you forgot to enter your coupon code in the previous section you have a second chance to do it here – in the blue box at the top of the page.
  6. Under the heading “Billing Details” you need to enter the name and other details of the person who is paying for the membership or event ticket. This allows us to check with the correct person if there are any issues related to the payment.
  7. The email address you enter in the “Billing Details” will become your ECAWeb user name and you will be asked to choose a password. Your ECAWeb account will allow you to log in again, download another copy of your Tax Invoice and more.
  8. Under the heading “Attendee Details” you need to enter the name and other details of the person who will be using this membership or event ticket, and attending the event. The details you enter on this part of the  form will be used to create the name tags, certificate of participation,  etc, and any information will be sent to the email address you list here.
  9. In the “Special Considerations” area please note any dietary or access needs you have: for example: vegetarian food, gluten free food, etc.
  10. In the “Order Notes” area you can add anything you need to tell us that doesn’t fit anywhere else.
  11.  At the bottom of the page you will see a summary of your order. Please check and correct this if necessary.
  12. You should then select your method of payment.
  • Credit card, PayPal and Direct Deposit / Bank Transfer / EFT payments  will be processed immediately after you click “Place  Order” (give it a moment though),  and a confirmation email with a TAX INVOICE attached will be sent to the address you listed.
  • If you select the option  “Cheque / TAX INVOICE with School Purchase / Order Number” and click “Place  Order” you will receive an email with your unpaid  TAX INVOICE attached, confirming your order. When your payment has been cleared you will be sent a PAID TAX INVOICE at the email address you registered.
  • If when using your credit card you get a “blank string passed” or similar strange message, you payment has almost certainly failed. This may be due to a “typo” on any of the credit card information that you entered, or an expired card. The easiest way ahead is to contact the ECAWA Secretary to confirm that no payment was processed before you try again. (secretary@ecawa,wa.edu.au or 0411 241 261 )
