Create a Game in 60 minutes: Scratch for Absolute Beginners – The latest addition to the ECAWA Conference programme

Scratch is the world’s easiest programming language. Created by the ‘Lifelong Kindergarten’ group at MIT, Scratch follows in the tradition of Logo and Lego Mindstorms by creating a free tool for students to learn 21st century skills: creativity, collaboration, computation and mathematics.

In this hands-on session, participants will learn how Scratch can be used to teach students mathematical concepts in a context they love: game creation.

Presenter: Paul Fuller, Teacher, Orange Grove Primary School
