Girls Programming Network Saturday February 25th at ECU Joondalup from 9.30am to 3.30pm

Girls Programming Network

The Girls’ Programming Network (GPN) is a program developed and run by women for girls and gender-diverse students. GPN is a unique opportunity to meet people with similar interests, hopefully make a couple of friends, and learn about the tech industry.

Each school term, ECU’s School of Science runs GPN. The day is targeted at female and gender-diverse high school students in years 7-12 interested in learning how to program or improve their coding skills. A day where you learn both the theoretical and practical aspects of computer science. No coding experience is required, as we will teach you, and by the end of the day, you will have made a small but satisfying program! Each term and workshop is different, but what is the same is that we do this all in Python! Join us for a fun day learning new things, playing games, and meeting new people with similar interests!

Location: ECU Joondalup campus – School of Science Building 18.
Cost: Nil (it’s free!)
