Choosing your ECAWA 2025 State Conference Tickets
ECAWA 2025 State Conference tickets for are available from ECAWeb at http://bit.ly/ECAWAPLTickets
Choose from a two day ticket, covering both days of the event, or one day tickets for either Saturday the 22nd of February or Sunday the 23rd of February, as best suits
your needs.
School Members may purchase as many tickets as they require, and are encouraged to contact the Secretary if they need to purchase a larger block of tickets, so that we can streamline the process for you.
We also ask school to consider our BUY TWO Get THREE offer on Two Day Conference Tickets (see below).
Conference tickets for non members are also available, however non members have the option of saving a few dollars by:
- Purchasing an ECAWA Membership ticket
- Then purchasing the Conference ticket at “Member” rates.
As noted, Non Member tickets are available, as we are aware that some schools prefer these, however, please consider the option above.

We know that schools get are likely to get more benefit from staff members attending PL if several teachers are able to attend together, but we also recognise that the PL budget might not stretch as far as you’d like, so we have an offer for schools that might help.
A Special Offer for Schools:
When you buy two 2 Day tickets for your staff members to attend the #ECAWA2025 State Conference you may claim a third 2 Day ticket for use by another staff member of your school.
The conditions that apply are: 
This offer applies to the purchase of 2 Day tickets only.
The three tickets may only be used by staff members of your school.
The free ticket covers Conference attendance only and does not include ECAWA membership.
So how do you get the free ticket?
As soon as the the school has purchased two 2 Day tickets, send an email to the Secretary secretary@ecawa.wa.edu.au to claim the third ticket. You will be sent a link to a form that the person using the free ticket will need to complete before the Conference.

The next General Meeting of the Educational Computing Association of Western Australia Inc will be held on:
Saturday the 22nd of February, beginning at 8.30am, at Christ Church Grammar School Preparatory School.
A light breakfast will be available from 8.00am for those members who complete the online attendance / response form. (available here soon)

Appointment of a School Voting Representative
Some important points to note:
Membership:
Any applications for membership of ECAWA received after 5.00pm (Perth, WA Time) on Saturday the 15th of February, 2025, will be held, and presented to the ECAWA Committee AFTER the Conference. This includes applications from former members whose membership has lapsed, and who wish to re-join ECAWA, so, if you wish to vote at the AGM ensure that your membership application is received, along with any payment, well before 5.00pm (Perth, WA Time) on Saturday the 15th of February, 2025.
If you wish to nominate for a position on the ECAWA Committee please complete the nomination form and email a copy to the Returning Officer at the address on the form, to be received no later than 5.00pm (Perth, WA Time) on Saturday the 15th of February, 2025.
When completing the nomination form, it is essential that the nominee sign the form to indicate that they are willing to accept the nomination, and that the nominee, nominator and seconder are all financial members of ECAWA at the time of the nomination and the AGM.
