In reality, shared responsibility is often no responsibility.
This presentation looks at the experiences of teachers in a variety of contexts from primary to secondary, in the public and private sector implementing Digital Literacy.
Attendees will come away with practical support and suggestions on how to implement a school-wide approach to Digital Literacy.
About the Presenters:
Courtney Weaver:
With over 15 years working in industry as a software developer/project manager and business analyst prior to moving into teaching, Courtney brings a wealth of real-world experience to her classroom.
As the former Head of Education at Grok Academy, she is passionate about upskilling teachers in all aspects of Digital Technologies and Digital Literacy.
Courtney has recently returned to the classroom and is also offering teacher PL during holidays and after school through Sprok.it Technologies Education https://www.sprok.it/
Simon Fittock:
Simon is a specialist in artificial intelligence, Technologies, Digital Literacy, and ICT across the curriculum. He holds a Master of Education by Research degree (Education Leadership) and is a doctoral candidate.
Simon has a keen interest in educational practice and has professional experience in Australia and abroad.
He has developed his expertise through work as a teacher, academic and consultant.
