Masterclass
This MasterClass will introduce participants to using SQLite with Python.
SQLite is a full featured and self-contained SQL database engine that is highly portable and does not require the use of a server. Supported by a wide range of programming languages, including Python, it is the perfect vehicle for teaching database development in an interesting and realistic manner.

Participants are expected to bring their own computers
WiFi access will be provided at the venue.
Intended Audience:
Teachers of ATAR Computer Science, anyone interested in using SQLite and Python3 in the classroom
Group Size:
20 places will be available.

4.00pm Registration and afternoon tea – to give everyone time to arrive and get comfortable
4.15pm – Introduction to using SQLite with Python3
– Hands-on activities using SQLite
– Creating realistic, open-ended database development projects
The masterclass will conclude at around 5.45pm.

About the Presenter:
Chris Anderson is currently the Head of Computer Science at Christ Church Grammar School and has been teaching ATAR Computer Science since 2008.
