ATAR Computer Science 2020 – Results, Marking and Assessments.
At this meeting there will be a round table discussion of how we teach, assess and mark ATAR Computer Science.
We aim to review 2019 ATAR Computer Science results, share sample assessment tasks, network and plan future meetings
Marufa Meher will share Assessment requirements for 2020. Please bring along one or two samples (year 11 or 12) assessment tasks that you can share with others. Going forward, we are looking to run an assessment writing session for teachers, with the topics to be negotiated at this meeting
Brett Clarke will discuss Systems Analysis – approaches to teaching SDLC, tricks of the trade, and some resources that can help you.
Michelle Ellis will discuss the ECAWA Calendar and Future ATAR ComSci meetings – dates, places and topics

Room: S32 (old Arts and Technology Building)
Parking: Park on site in the main staff car parks after school if place are available. If not, you may need park outside on street parking.
Number of Participants: Approximately 20 places will be made available.
Requirements: Participants are asked to bring sample assessments / tasks that they can discuss and share with others, plus a digital or hard copy of your school’s 2019 Year 12 Computer Science Report from SAIS. Bring a tablet or other device if you wish (optional).
