The ABC of Developmental Programming
UNLOCK IMAGINATION – LET’S PUT THOSE SCREENS AWAY!
New generation programming resources combine with traditionally tactile favourites to develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination while engaging our youngest school citizens in programming, computational thinking, collaborative team work and systems thinking.
‘Learning to code isn’t just about knowing symbols and syntax —it can help unlock kids’ imagination by inspiring them to build new things and interact with everyday objects through discovery and play.’ (Ideo- global design company)
Work with CSER, ECAWA and the DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES P- 2 curriculum, PROGRAMMING applications and ROBOTICS, to take COMPUTATIONAL THINKING activities away from screens and keyboards and make them tangible.
- analogue meets digital
- physical programming with bits and blocks
- play with the Internet of Things
- abstraction (What is that exactly?), logical, systems and computational thinking
Come along and join us!
