The ECAWA team is in Albany for
ECAWA on the Road 2009 – ICT, Your Money and Your Classroom
The weather on Friday was amazingly wet and we arrived soaked through.
On Saturday, Peta Harrison and her colleagues at Albany Senior High School were our hosts, and made the business of zipping into town and getting straight to work easy for the team.
In a full day of workshops the ECAWA team introduced participants to the Consumer and Financial Literacy Project, and teachers looked at various ways of integrating Consumer and Financial Literacy into the curriculum through ICT. The participants looked at some new technologies and tools, and discovered some new ways of using tools they already had available.
This project is made possible by a grant from the Australian Government Quality Teacher Program (AGQTP).
