In this workshop, Michelle Pestel will be delighted to share some of her school’s integrated project initiatives using Greenscreen, Stop Motion, KodeKlix, Makey-Makeys, Robotics and 3D printing.
Michelle will also show you the customised school Learning Management System used to centralise all phases of teaching and learning in Years 4-6.

Objectives:
In this workshop, Michelle Pestel will lead you to;
- understand the ‘Blended Learning model’ as a way to balance Online learning with Face to Face learning and support opportunities for differentiation.
- learn about how to purposefully integrate technology into ‘student-led’ projects
- know how to set up a Greenscreen and 3D Print studio
- experience a variety of ICT and Digital Technology resources
- develop awareness of how an LMS can make teaching and learning transparent

About the Presenter:
Michelle Pestel has been the Primary ICT and Numeracy Co-ordinator at Peter Moyes Anglican Community Sschool for the past 4 years and before this worked as a Primary classroom teacher for 15 years.
Her current role was created to lead a change in pedagogy to purposefully integrate technology into teaching and learning. Michelle’s role also includes managing the one-to-one Laptop program for the Year 4-6 students, and shared laptops and ipads for the K-3 students.
