Reclaim your classroom time with the Blended Learning Model
Join fellow Year 7–10 Digital Technologies teachers for an engaging professional learning workshop hosted by Rachel Farnay and Jonathan Ihlein from Ashdale Secondary College.
This session will explore how the multi-modal Blended Learning Model (BLM) can be effectively applied in ICT and Design classrooms to create academically rigorous, engaging and student-centred learning environments.
Discover practical strategies for incorporating diverse learning modalities, increasing flexibility in pace and access, and supporting a wider range of learning styles and student needs.
Teachers will gain insight into how blended learning can empower both students and educators (especially those teaching ICT from out-of-area) while addressing individual strengths and challenges through purposeful integration of digital tools and teaching practices. This is a practical session with time to discuss, plan and produce your own BLM resources.
