ACCE Webinar #9: Low-tech, high-impact STEM
In this engaging webinar, Regional Manager Heather Catchpole will explore how Questacon’s
national approach to STEM education has evolved, with a particular focus on strengthening delivery
in regional and remote contexts. You’ll gain insight into innovative models such as the Regional
Leaders program, national touring, and communities of practice that connect educators, build
capability, and amplify impact across Australia. Special attention will be given to the “E” in
STEM—Engineering—and how it can be meaningfully integrated into technology education.
Learn how Questacon Educator Programs—Engineering is Elementary, STEM Futures, and Regional
Leaders—work together to provide free, high-quality professional development (both virtual and in-
person) designed to increase student engagement, broaden participation, and make STEM pathways
more visible and accessible for all learners.
Join this session to explore practical strategies, connect with a national network of educators, and
discover how you can strengthen your technology teaching practice while empowering students
with the skills they need for the future.
