This presentation is a must for all teachers who are looking for ideas, strategies and approaches to the planning, delivery and assessment of this recently revised course.
Participants will also explore the new or refined content areas of the course and discuss successful approaches to the delivery of this course.

Some generic teaching resources will be provided to participants.


About the Presenter:

Mike Ross has over 10 years’ experience as a teacher of Information Systems and Computer Science and is a Level 3 Classroom Teacher and specialist teacher of senior school computing at Ballajura Community College.

He has been involved in both marking and examination panels and has held the position of Chief Marker and Chief Examiner over the past few years.
Mike currently is a member of the Computer Science CAC panel and has been involved in the design and implementation of the new WACE Computer Science syllabus.

Mike lives in sunny Perth with his wife, youngest child, a fish called Sugarman and a collection of 100 cactii!
