CSIRO ICT in Schools

ICT in Schools a partnership program (ICTiS) provides an opportunity for ICT professionals to partner with teachers to bring real world ICT to classrooms. ICTiS is open to all year levels and there is no cost to the participate. All ICT professional volunteers have completed their working with children checks.

ICTiS partnerships create a genuine professional relationship between the teacher and the ICT professional, not just a one off presentation to the class. The ICT professional and the teacher negotiate a commitment that is sustainable and meets their individual needs and availability.

Come to the ECAWA conference on 16-17 April to find out how you can become involved in the program or head to our website for more details.

ICT in Schools creates and supports ongoing, flexible partnerships between ICT professionals and teachers across Australia. Inspire the next generation of technologists.

Are you interested in project-based learning? Our projects provide a framework for hands-on activities.

ICT in Practice Projects

An ICT in Practice project provides a context for partnership interaction and activity.

The projects are representative of authentic ICT research and practice and are linked to the Australian Curriculum.

The ICT professionals working in the partnership will be able to showcase their careers, inspiring and engaging the next generation as they share their knowledge and enthusiasm for ICT.

Kind Regards,
