Associate Professor Dr Katrina Falkner

Associate Professor Dr Katrina Falkner, Head of School in the School of Computer Science, Faculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Adelaide in South Australia, will be a Keynote Speaker at the ECAWA 2014 State Conference.

Katrina leads the Computer Science Education Research Group, and has a strong interest in applying and understanding social constructivist pedagogy.

.Mrs Jan Clarke is the ICT in Curriculum Consultant with the Association of Independent Schools of Western Australia,  the ICT Integration Support Consultant and an AISWA EPICT Australia Consultant.

Jan’s eclectic teaching experience with ICT equips her to talk about its integration across the curriculum.

Trained as a primary teacher, moving to secondary and VET computing and now working as a teacher consultant for AISWA, Jan has had the opportunity to collect over 25 years of first-hand experience about how ICTs are used in classrooms across year levels and subjects.
