ECAWA on the Road – Yanchep

After some very successful workshops last term, ECAWA on the Road 2009 – ICT, Your Money and Your Classroom will be in Yanchep – at Yanchep District High School – on Saturday, the 31st of October – bringing information about Consumer and Financial Literacy for students, as well as workshops for teachers.

The ICT emphasis for this workshop will be on learning to use Photoshop CS4 more effectively, and will suit beginners as well as people who may have some experience with one of the previous versions of Photoshop.

A parallel strand will include presentations about incorporating the use of Learning Federation learning objects and Excel in classroom activities, and explore the use of low cost or free software and Web 2 tools in the classroom.

Morning tea and coffee with pastries and muffins will be available from 9.30 am and the programme will begin at 10.00 am. Registration includes morning tea and lunch.

An acknowledgement will be sent to participants when their registration form is received.

We are very grateful to Yanchep District High School for making their facilities available for these workshops.
