T&E Teachers' Forum on March 27th

The T&E Teachers’ Forum will be held on 27th March (4-7pm) at ECU Mt Lawley, and will feature Keynote Speaker, Professor Richard Kimbell of London University.

For all primary and secondary teachers!

This forum is suitable for all primary and secondary teachers because Professor Kimbell’s ground-breaking research on performance assessment in the UK has included a number of learning areas and ages of students.

To register, submit the registration form available from http://csalt.education.ecu.edu.au/conference.htm by 24th March and make your  payment on the night (by cash or cheque).

Free registration for 25 ECAWA members!

The registration cost is $15 for members of ECAWA, however ECAWA will cover the registration costs for the first 25 ECAWA members who register by the 24th of March and then complete their registration by 4.15pm on the day of the Forum.

The Technology & Enterprise Teachers’ Forums are organised by the Centre for Schooling and Learning Technologies (CSaLT) of Edith Cowan University and four teacher professional associations (Business Educators of WA, Educational Computing Association of WA, Design and Technology Teachers Association, and the Home Economics Institute WA Chapter).  The structure of this forum will be as follows:

3.30pm  Registration and afternoon tea
4.30pm  Keynote Address: Professor Richard Kimbell (London University)
“Approaches to Performance Assessment in the UK”
6.00pm  Choice of workshops
– one workshop for each of the four associations (ECAWA, BEWA, HEIWA, and DATTA)
– primary teachers workshop
– non T&E teachers workshop with Richard Kimbell
